It's All About Souls

In 1998, Reverend Carl Colletti was elected District Superintendent with a vision to plant, stabilize, and grow the ministers and ministries of New Jersey. The last several years have demonstrated that when a district focuses on intentional and strategic church planting, encourages partnering together for the stabilization of struggling works, and offers valuable events to grow local church ministries, souls will be added to the kingdom. Specifically, the If Not Now, WHEN? campaign, launched in 2001, raised $3.7 million in cash and pledges which has resulted in 48 new churches planted in five years. Clifton partnering with Belleville, Marlton partnering with Somerdale, Vineland partnering with Mays Landing demonstrates that the Body of Christ is sufficient to help one another reach their respective communities. Pastor's School, Sectional Council Seminars, Youth Ministers and Children's Ministries Institutes, Church Planters and Revitalization Boot Camps, etc. all point to a coordinated effort to inspire, educate, and equip local church ministry. In 2004 with the relocation of the District Office, the New Jersey District Council launched a new phase of ministry as the New Jersey District Ministry Resource Center.

Dr. E. Samuel Mohanraj

Dr. E. Samuel Mohanraj, the Founder and President of Showers of Blessing Ministries, is a native of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India and the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ebenezer. As he was unable to walk at the age of one, his parents took him to a gospel meeting held in Madurai by the Evangelist. T.L. Osborn. There they prayed for him with a heavy burden and by the end of the meeting, the lad who could not even walk, started running! The one who ran towards his parents that day decades ago, is today running throughout the world as a servant of God, sharing the gospel and bringing down God’s blessings to countless people.
